Autumn 25 #2

Another session at home was a bit more interesting than the previous occasion. Two moths that at rest  hold their bodies curved upwards, Gauna aegusalis and Sceliodes cordalis; the larvae of the former graze on rust fungus galls on wattles, the latter on aubergines. Some images will enlarge.

Gauna aegusalis.

Sceliodes cordalis.

Another Achyra species, A. massalis.

A Footman, Anestia semiochrea, male, females are wingless.

A Tortricid, (Conchylis) subfurcatana.

To be continued.
